Frequently asked questions

Is Ramblet usable yet?

Not yet. The platform is under active development. This website shows the current state and planned features.

What is the difference between ramblet.de and ramblet.me?

ramblet.de is the official product website. ramblet.me is the technical invite domain: links like https://ramblet.me/abc123 lead to a specific community invitation.

How do invite links work?

A valid invite link opens a page with the community information and a join button. Joining only happens after your confirmation – never just from opening the link.

My invite link does not work. What now?

Possible reasons: the code has expired, was revoked, the maximum number of uses was reached, or you were banned from the community. The invite page shows the specific state. Ask the person who sent you the link.

Which platforms are supported?

At launch: the web version and a Windows client. macOS, Linux, Android and iOS will follow – the download page shows the current plan.

How does Ramblet handle privacy?

As little data as necessary, as short a retention as possible, no ad trackers. The full privacy policy openly lists all services in use.

Where can I report problems or rule-breaking?

Issues within a community go to its moderation first. Platform-wide matters reach you via the contact page.
