Trust starts with clarity

Ramblet is building a communication platform – and takes responsibility for what happens there. This page explains how we understand security and privacy. Without marketing promises we cannot keep.

Your data – minimized

We collect as little as possible and store it as briefly as possible. No ad tracking, no profiling for third parties. Details are in the privacy policy.

Secure foundations

All traffic runs over TLS. The infrastructure follows established standards: OWASP recommendations, secure HTTP headers including a strict Content Security Policy, and consistent input validation.

Moderation as a tool

Communities enforce their own rules. Ramblet provides reporting paths, permissions and blocking tools – your community, your standards. Platform-wide, the community guidelines apply.

Reports are taken seriously

Violations of platform guidelines can be reported directly. Moderation decisions follow documented criteria rather than gut feeling.

Encryption – communicated openly

All connections are encrypted in transit (TLS). End-to-end encryption for private messages is being evaluated for future versions – we do not claim it until it reliably exists.

German & European framework

Operations are planned in Germany. We prepare the platform for GDPR and regulation as a communications service, and document open legal questions transparently.

Report violations first to the moderation of the respective community. Platform-wide issues – fraud, illegal content or security vulnerabilities – reach us via the contact page.
